Mindful Mamas

You are invited to Mindful Mamas. A fitness and stretching class (mats will be provided) and Bible study. Our class will be taught by Heather Black of Tatyana's Fitness. We have asked Heather to create a toning and stretching workout with a purpose: to generate energy, facilitate relaxation, and increase focus for our group.

Following the 45 minute stretching and relaxation, we will have a 30 minute time of structured Bible study and devotional. 


  • 7-7:15 Arrival & fellowship
  • 7:15-8:00 Mindfulness, stretching & relaxation
  • 8:00-8:30 Devotional
  • 8:30-8:45 Prayer and fellowship
Mindful Mamas is an initiative of Miriam's Heart that 'gives permission' to women, caregivers and mamas for self-care. Seeing the need for many mothers to take a moment and breathe, learn regulating and relaxation tactics and to model calm and connected behavior to their families. In this way, Miriam's Heart seeks to provide opportunities for all moms, with a focus on mothers who are working with children who have gone through trauma and loss
