You are not alone. Many parents have walked a road similar to yours and we want to offer information and resources to help!
In cooperation with the Blend ministry, we have compiled the following list of helpful books, parenting resources and materials. Parenting is one of the more challenging tasks; and parenting children who have faced losses, abandonment and abuse can present even more areas for growth. Below, we have listed recommended aids for adoptive and foster families. This list is for informational purposes only, we are not experts, but a grouping of parents who have compiled a list of resources.
If you or your child is going through an especially difficult time, seek professional help from a licensed therapist who is familiar with adoption and adoption-related trauma. If we can assist you in finding help, contact us.
