It’s the perfect way to celebrate the end of 2020 - an opportunity to put on snazzy clothes, dance, laugh, and learn more about how you can meaningfully connect with others in the coming year - all from the comfort of your own home! A Virtual Gala to Benefit Miriam’s Heart.

About The Event
What will I get to do during the event?
- Meet members of our board and leadership team
- Hear about new safety nets Miriam’s will be building to help catch children at risk
- Dance (optional) - a prize will be awarded for the most "pandemic-proof" dancing partner who makes an appearance on the virtual dance floor, so get creative!
- Learn about what you can do to help other families during 2021
After the "formal" presentation is over, stick around for a family-friendly dance competition and/or virtual cocktail hour breakout rooms. We'll do our best to simulate the natural flow of an in-person party so that you can move freely between the dance competition and among smaller group chats with thematic conversation starters. Prizes for the most covid-friendly dance partner & background competitions to be provided by Rahway Dental Group (free celaning & whitening), The Sauer Law Firm LLC (a complete estate planning package) & an annonymous donor (baseball tickets - when going to games becomes a thing again, that is!).
What do I do next?
- Register for the event - its $10/registration link (free tickets are available to volunteers - see ticket options)
- Invite your favorite friends to join you virtually - parties are always better with a fun crowd!
- Get a fantastic outfit ready - we're starting a rumor about sequins being back in vogue :)
- Decorate your background - & win a prize!
- Consider making an additional gift to help Miriam's Heart - may we suggest $100 per family or whatever you can comfortably give?
Help us make the new year brighter for you & the children of New Jersey during this time of unprecedented need & opportunity! We will do our very best to keep this event informative and fun. Feel free to turn your camera off and start doing something better if we don't completely captivate you - because we are confident that we will.
We do our best to make the most of every dollar in our budget and can't wait to share about the impact that even $25 that goes towards our programs can make. Donations of time, supplies, and monetary amounts of any size are always sincerely appreciated. We look forward to seeing you at the (virtual) party!
