Each year, Miriam's Heart hosts a fundraising gala, and this year it's The Totally Radical 80’s Glam Gala! We're taking the party to the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ. Get ready for a night of opulence, neon lights, and fabulous music that will transport you back to the bodacious 1980s.

Join us at this formal black-tie event to raise money for children who have been adopted or are in foster care and their families. This soirée is not just the party of the year; it’s a heartfelt opportunity to make a difference while having a blast.

the Goal

All children who have been adopted or in foster care have suffered loss - even after they find a safe and stable family. The purpose of the event is to raise funding for the vital support to adoptive and foster families and children. Our programs equip children and families to thrive. The goal for the Miriam's Heart Gala is $75,000, which offsets most of the annual operational and program expenses, allowing Miriam's Heart to focus for the rest of the year on providing radical support to children and families! Sponsors, table hosts, and ticket sales help us to bring this fabulous annual event and raise as much support as possible while having a totally radical time!

The Venue

Venue: Olde Mill Inn offers a boutique event experience for our guests in 2024.

The Olde Mill Inn is a family business; when you walk in the door, you’ll get a sense that you’re home.
Exquisite and unique spaces for our event, from the Grand Ballroom to the tranquility of the Library and the beauty of the landscaped gardens and gazebo for outdoor experiences and cigars
After-party available exclusively for overnight guests at the Inn, with access to the Game Room with Poker Table and Dart Board
Overnight guests will also enjoy a complimentary breakfast, 24-hour access to our Fitness Center, healthy, allergy-free rooms, and a scenic garden setting to expand their experience.

Dress Code Details

You may be asking, ‘The 1980’s? How do I dress for this?’ The answer is HOWEVER YOU'D LIKE. Some folks choose to dress up and others opt to wear formal attire. If you want to dress up, choose lace, neon colors, poufy sleeves, sequins, and velvet. What it does not mean is warm-ups, leg warmers, or aerobics gear. It is a GLAM gala, after all.
