Robyn Acceturo

Community Liaison

Robyn is the bridge between Miriam’s Heart and the community. As a former resource parent, Robyn experienced firsthand the challenges within New Jersey’s child welfare system and is deeply committed to improving it with practical solutions that prioritize the child. In her role as Community Liaison, Robyn fosters and strengthens relationships between Miriam’s Heart, foster and adoptive families, local communities, and potential partners. She actively engages with The Child Advocacy Network (CAN), collaborating with legislators on foster care reform and representing Miriam’s Heart at events to address the needs of children and families. Her work ensures that vital feedback is used to enhance our programs and advocacy efforts.With a background in marketing and finance, Robyn brings a wealth of experience to her role. She and her husband, Richard, reside in Morris County and own West Orange Jewelers in Parsippany, a family business established by Richard’s mother in 1962.
